The Boat barbeque has got off to a very good start this year…….I am not a boater but wanted to create the same experience that the on land Asado Grill gives.

However after making a whole load of  them coated in chrome plate  it became a questionable decision!

A lot of the boaters questioned why I had not produced them in Stainless steel as chrome would quickly rust.

The answer for me is that the Boat BBQ seems to be a VERY expensive item.  I wanted to produce a good looking functional boat bbq at a very reasonable price.

The Asado Boat BBQ is meant to be stowed away till needed and then only used for an hour or so. If you wipe it down post use then it will last the boater many many seasons. Even longer if you use the inland waterways!!!!

Also if you use the instant barbecue it is a self contained item …no need for huge bags of charcoal of firelighters and you do not have to clean them after wards unlike 90% of the others… Gas is an option but all very fiddly!
